Are there any per-contractor fees?
No. Your subscription covers an unlimited number of contractors on every plan. There are no per-contractor fees regardless of the size of your supply chain. A company managing 10 contractors pays the same subscription as one managing 10,000.
What counts as a “user”?
A user is a member of your internal compliance team who accesses the ContractorCompliance admin interface - compliance managers, document reviewers, procurement staff and administrators. Contractors accessing the self-service portal are not counted as users and there is no limit on the number of contractors using the portal.
How does AI Processing work and what does it cost?
When a contractor uploads a compliance document, the AI reads it and automatically extracts key fields - expiry dates, insured values, policy numbers and cover types. Each plan includes a free monthly allowance of AI-processed documents (50 on Standard, 150 on Professional, 300 on Enterprise). Above the free allowance, each document processed is charged at £0.11. Your entire first month of AI Processing is free - no documents are charged regardless of volume. Your current AI usage and monthly spend are visible in your account dashboard.
Do my contractors pay for the portal?
No. The contractor self-service portal is included in your subscription at no additional cost. Contractors use the portal free of charge - they do not need a Construct Software account or licence. They access the portal via a secure magic-link login sent to their email.
What happens if I need more storage?
Your account dashboard shows your current storage usage. If you approach your plan's included storage, you can add additional storage in 10 GB increments at £12 per 10 GB per month (£144 per year). Additional storage can be added at any time without disrupting your account.
What is the minimum commitment?
ContractorCompliance is billed annually. There is no multi-year minimum commitment. You can start on any plan and scale up as your team grows. Contact us via the Get Started page to discuss your requirements and we can arrange a walkthrough before you commit.
